Every summer in S.E. Alaska Blueberries and red huckeleberries are available to pick, for pies cobblers and jams. The people that live here celebrate the blueberry season with a Blueberry arts festival. This happens the 1st saturday in August. The black bears here love them too! I was inspired by the Blueberry Arts Festival and just from many years of being up close in picking them. This is Colored Pencil on black paper.
